I grew up on a farm in Central Minnesota, where I learned the value of hard work and community. After graduation, I moved to Minneapolis to attend the Aveda Institute for Cosmetology, and during that time, I also joined the Army Reserves. After earning my Cosmetology License, I headed to Basic Training at Fort Leonard Wood, MO, followed by Advanced Individual Training at Fort Sam Houston and Fort Hood—where I became a Nationally Certified EMT and a Certified Surgical Tech.
After my military training, I moved to Austin and spent the next 20 years doing what I loved—working as a hairdresser. In 2005, my husband and I moved to Bertram, and soon after, we welcomed our son and daughter. I became a stay-at-home mom, which has truly been the most rewarding job of all.
Now that our kids are older, I’ve shifted into a career in Real Estate—bringing with me a lifetime of experience in the service industry. I’ve watched the incredible growth and transformation of the Austin, Hill Country, and Highland Lakes areas over nearly three decades. I bought my first home in Lago Vista at 21, and since then, my husband and I have built our homestead and ranch in Bertram and invested in properties across Burnet, College Station, and Inks Lake.
